Cinzzetti’s

Driving I-25, by the 104th Avenue exit is a place not to be missed. Cinzzetti’s Italian Market Restaurant sits on the Northwest side of the expressway.  If you have ever wondered if their food was tasty – then read on...
In Cinzzetti’s we found an affordable, filling, flavorful experience for the whole family. This restaurant will quickly become a favorite and regular hot spot on your long list of Denver dinning choices. Take an evening out and forget you are in Denver! Cinzetti’s proved to be a relaxing Italian get away without the long flight.
Make sure you come hungry, and make sure you have a couple hours at minimum to try many of the over 90 different choices on the buffet. We found many options that just couldn’t seem to stay on our plates for long.
Let’s start backwards. Deserts – WOW.  The first thing that will keep us coming back is the deserts! The tiramisu was light and mouth watering, definite competition for the Frutta Dal Sale, a delicious strawberry shortcake with fresh whip cream. For you chocolate lovers, the flakey, extra chocolate soufflé cake will make you want to go back for thirds! The Italian Crepes make for a tough decision – the decision of what to put inside the crepe! I highly recommend the strawberry, banana, blueberry crepe! The bread pudding is also a delight, but don’t fill up on too much before making your way to the ice cream buffet with over a dozen different flavors! I’m sure the ice cream buffet is going to be a hot spot for the kids in your group! Except for the ice cream, every desert is made fresh in front of you.
Cinzzetti’s variety will entice you back even if desserts aren’t your thing. We browsed through over 50 dishes, and were informed that there are even more dishes offered on the weekends. The creamed Pomodoro, a cream of tomato soup with a balanced flavor and home made crouton topping, started our meal with a jump start.

Don’t fill up on the fantastic soup flavors! There’s a complete salad bar! Create your own house salad, sprinkled with feta cheese and bacon, garnished with fresh tomatoes and other vegetables and a drizzle of light dressing.
I’ve tried calamari on both coasts. I have sampled calamari in several European countries. I tasted the calamari at Cinzzetti’s and honestly rank it up there with the best I’ve eaten. If you are a calamari fan, make sure to top your order with Arrabriata sauce.  If calamari is not your style, the nearby fresh bruschetta will send your taste buds into summersaults.
Diving into the main course for me was Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Egg Plant Parmesan with tomato sauce, lasagna Bolognese – but my personal favorite, which yes I went back three times, was the Arancini Ziccini – light, flaky and flavorful. The pizza was tasty but easier to pass up in order to save room for the other appetizing delights. Weekend specialties include ribs, shrimp and mussels.
In addition to the fabulous fare, Cinzetti’s atmosphere was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and ensure we were serviced properly.
Other benefits to Cinzetti’s: Kids under 12 eat free on Monday and Tuesday night (kids are only $3.99 the rest of the week – so this won’t break the bank any night!) Take advantage of the several banquette rooms for your next large group or business meeting.
Cinzzetti’s Italian Market Restaurant is located at 281 West 104th Ave in Northglenn, CO 80234 and can be reached at        303-451-7300. Make Cinzetti’s a fun, affordable dinning experience soon!
